Islas Marietas

With crystal clear waters and white sand, no one could imagine that they were used by the government for military tests. Islas Marietas is now protected by the Mexican Government. The Marietas are a group of inhabited islands east from Puerto Vallarta, Jalisco. Water here is so clear you can be seen with 10 meters of depth, but the best part is its reef, swimming in these waters makes you feel at peace, like swimming in a big aquarium.

El Malecon

Old Town

Whale Watching

An amazing natural show and the main characters are the majestic humped backed whales. Humpback whales, Bryde’s whales and a wide variety of dolphins, including Orcas, inhabit the waters of Puerto Vallarta. Known as the most active of all baleen whales, the Humpback whale can be seen in this region from November through April displaying their acrobatic abilities and social behaviors.

Zip Line

Mexico's longest and fastest zip line at over 1,200 meters (nearly 4,000 feet) in length and reaching speeds of up to 100 kph (or 60 mph). Located in a protected tropical forest just outside of Puerto Vallarta, this an extreme experience that you do not want to miss.

The annual International Marlin & Sailfish Fishing Tournament

Held every November for over fifty years, brings together some of the most avid sports fishermen from Mexico, the U.S. and abroad. Some of the wide varieties of fish that can be caught in the area include marlin, sailfish, snapper, yellow-fin tuna, rooster fish and dorado (mahi mahi).
